Question about Holiday Promotion - Guild Wars Forums

Don't know if anyone's tried this, so I thought I'd ask:

My friend current has Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall (bought the Trilogy a while back). She does not have Eye of the North or the GOTY Edition bonus items. She noticed that with the current holiday promotion, buying Prophecies GOTY Edition is actually 10 bucks CHEAPER than buying Eye of the North by itself.

However, the website says that you will receive a single serial code that enables both games on your account. My question is: if she purchases GOTY edition through the online store, (+GWEN for free with the promotion) will she be able to add it to an account that already has Prophecies but not GWEN?

Yes. The game will inform you that you have a code for it already and ask if you're sure you want to add the key, but you can do that with no problems.

I did that myself - got Prophecies, and later got and added on the Platinum Edition (Proph + EOTN), and also the Nightfall CE after I already had Nightfall. It will work fine.
